Quiet Sunday Morning

The day Daylight Savings ends is, I think, one of everyone's secret pleasures. We all get an extra hour to sleep in, or whatever, and not feel guilty about it! Pure indulgence.

Wonderful Husband is, in fact, still asleep, but I was awakened by the beginning drips of today's rain, which negates just about any plans I would have had for yardwork today. Though picking a few lemons for dinner remains a valid if damp lifestyle choice.

I have Sushi on my lap being a nice lapwarmer (or, from his point of view, I am being a good butt-and-bellywarmer) which is nice since the house is a little bit cool this morning. In a bit I'll shoo him off and go make this fall's first batch of oatmeal for breakfast, and contemplate what I need to get done today other than writing.

I hate it because it marks the beginning of it getting dark and like 4pm =( Super depressing

I don't think it's a "secret" pleasure. :)

Yay extra hour of sleep! I normally feed my kitties at 6 am... Jack let me sleep in until 5:45 before he made it known in no uncertain terms that it was Breakfast Time. And Jack is normally the cuddly one, but in the last week or so I've woken from my post-breakfast nap to find Cleo keeping my toes warm...

My plans involved work, Joanns sale, and DnD game, all of which are indoors. Most of the rain was late afternoon yesterday and last night anyways. My bread for DnD failed ( ;_; ) so instead I modded a cake mix with Milk, peanut butter, and cocoa powder that I still need to frost.
