Mmm, actually, Sam isn't going to have much to do with Trailbreaker getting repairs, though that's an intriguing thought. Living mecha, are a bit harder to repair than mere space bridges, and he's kind of not very good at fixing things. (Note that Sam provided the manual in Summer Job; Optimus was the one actually doing the repair work.)
