Getting Better All The Time~!

Finally back down to .2 degrees of my normal! But my voice sounds like it's been run through a shredder and I am still randomly falling into nasty, crippling bouts of coughing, so I'm taking discretion as the better part of valor and will take today as a sick day from work as well. Sleeping from nine to five solid last night was a joy and delight, as was the occasional sensation, on those moments that my throat was actually clear, of air flowing smoothly down my windpipe. The only thing I can compare it to is the day I got my braces off, how unbelievably smooth the front of my teeth felt. I also had a quasi-dream that's inspiring me to write a dark (non-Disney) Cinderella story, but I'm going to let that fall to the back burner for a bit.

And, when I opened up the curtains in our office here, for about twenty seconds there was a hummingbird hovering outside, less than two feet away. Which of course the idiot cat in my lap didn't want to look at.
