I live in a relatively nice middle-class area in SoCal. It borders on an fairly affluent area. I am thus fairly used to seeing Porsches, Lexuses (Lexi?) and other luxury vehicles. There are, however, relatively few people around here who drive the slightly more exotic vehicles such as Lotuses and Lamborghinis, even though I could drive you past the dealerships for both. Thus I am pretty sure that the yellow Lamborghini Murcielago that I keep seeing is in fact one car not a couple of them. Though I should really memorize its plate sometime just to be sure.

In any case, I saw it again this morning on my way to work. It was keeping to the speed limit, the suspected reason for which is that it was being followed by a black-and-white sheriff's car. Me, being utterly unredeemable, promptly thought "Ah, I see Prowl is keeping a close watch on Sunstreaker this morning. Wonder what he's been up to?"

Just more proof that TF has the most pervasive tendencies of any fandom I've been in, ever. ^_^ I saw a red utility van a couple weeks ago sitting (no shit) next to a yellow Bug at a stop light and just about had a come-apart in my car.

There used to be someone in our part of St. Louis who owned a DeLorean. We frequently saw it parked in front of Fuddruckers, of all places. This led to a lot of 'Great Scott, Marty!' jokes.

Dang. Now I feel old.

I saw a DeLorean go by the other day. Sadly, I didn't manage anything more coherent than "ga-ga-ga--! DeLorean!!!"

Hey, a fellow SoCal! You saw Prowl following Sunstreaker? *snickers* Saw Sideswipe (also Murciélago, plus spoiler) last year just after picking up IDW's "Art of TF". The unusual engine purr was what caught my attention and I was "The Pit Sideswipe doing in Pasadena? Hiding from Prowl?". :D
