The BrainCell: *bounce!bounce!bounce!*
Nov. 29th, 2006 02:31 pmDue to a number of factors, among them (1) the fact that I've recently started rereading Pride and Prejudice, (2) weekly sewing sessions with Liz talking about outfits we are making or intending to make, and (3)
koshka_the_cat posting about the dress she's making for the Jane Austen Tea and Ball in January and thus reminding me that such a thing is extant, my brain is currently consumed with Regency costumes. I've got patterns for myself and have been researching patterns for my Wonderful Husband and am trying to figure out how quickly various of my sewing projects can be finished and whether or not I'd be able to make us appropriate garb in time for the aforementioned event. I think I could... but that will depend on the finding of my walking foot so I can finish one, if not both, Christmas quilts this weekend.
This is what happens to the braincell when swing and ballroom dance classes are on hiatus and my Moebius-geekery friends are elsewise occupied. But still! Tonight, I quest for the walking foot, translate the Moebius 35 summary, and get at least ten more minutes done on the translation for 33. And cut out a bodice lining for Abby's new dress and start sewing that.
