*finishes watching Ultraman: Moebius episode 29*

Okay, point one: easily the best episode of the series yet. Though, I admit, 21/22 (backstory for the why of Hibino Mirai) come close. From the very first scene to the very last scene, I felt punched in the gut.

Point two: as expected, a cliffhanger.

Point three: okay, hoshikage's first story in our arc now invalidated... mine, and the one she's now working on, perhaps not so much so.

Point four: the trailer for next week... um, seven times twenty-four hours equals t-minus 168 hours....

Okay, the curry thing? I hit the nail on the head. Maybe for the origami too--they didn't actually show "Mirai-sensei" /doing/ it. I wonder what omamori Mirai was going to give to Ryu, if any. I wonder if telling Ryu certain things was actually in his mind when he started. Oh, and Mirai cooks! Sandwiches as well as curry. For some reason that's incredibly endearing. And everyone on the team was harrassing Ryu about it being a date... the four of them are so in line with us three fangirls! hoshikage pretty much also hit the nail on the head about Ryu's reaction to Mirai's secret, except for there was less anger here, probably because Mirai actually told/showed Ryu, instead of having his secret exposed by someone else. Mirai must've told Sakomizu he was being recalled to the World of Light; Sakomizu's reactions don't make sense otherwise. And what the hell was up with that monster?! Taro, incidentally, kicks ass. And in the episode 30 trailer, everyone knows. Which I'd kind of guessed, given the Wikipedia saying something about in episode 30 Moebius gets his Burning Brave mode with the (emotional) support of Crew GUYS....

Maybe I'll translate the whole hicbc summary for episode 30 to entertain myself this week. Now I wait for hoshikage and sandpanther to watch the episode as well so we can gibber at one another.

More with the useful Firefox plugins: Countdown clock. It sit on the status bar on the browser, so you just glance down and you always know how long it is until whatever you are counting down to. If I didn't already have a rally in a weird time zone this week mine would be set counting down to the next episode. As it is, I will need to do some research to figure out how to maintain a second clock.

Yeah, I'm totally convinced that Mirai told Sakomizu everything, including the part where if he sticks around he will die. Sakomizu just looked too worried sick when Mebius first appeared.

Okay, I really need to stop being a fangirl and get back to being a good friend. And eat lunch. Yes, I think lunch needs to be in there somewhere. Lunch that does not involve watching this episode for the third time in less than an hour. I'll be back on in the evening, and there will be much fangirling.

*rewatches* And his line when the monster appears about "don't be reckless"... that wasn't to George and Marina at all, that was to himself about Mirai....
