Thud into sudden depression

sakon76I am currently debating whether or not I should even try to finish the secret costume, seeing as (1) I have no gloves, (2) I have no shoes, and (3) I have no brooch. While a trip to the fabric district could solve the first, the shoes I need are apparently out of season, and the brooch may well be under the realm of "make it yourself" which when a gem of that size is involved and I haven't started studying resin casting... is tricky.
Of course I know this pessimistic view of life, costuming, and the universe in general is due to Friday-night-ness, probably needing dinner, sleep, and a cessation of the visit of that monthly friend. Life will seem better in the morning and I'll use up ugly fabrics in the making of a nice costume.
