Well, pieces cut out for muslin mockup of bridesmaid's dress. Catastrophe averted at work by timely arrival of order of scattering urns. Plans made for ice-skating on Sunday. And Wonderful Husband being wonderful and insightful and realizing we need to get at least one more pair of fabric scissors. And that, in a non-linear fashion, was my day.

I request that the new pair of fabric scissors not be purple. That way when I bring mine down, we can tell them apart.

Was actually going to go for another pair of the silver-handled Ginghers, I think. I like their heft. And that way (since they're shaped differently from paper scissors) it's clear that they're for no other purpose. ^_^

I have a pair of those! And they come with a scissor-scabbard that I miraculously have not managed to lose.

Which reminds me, my Ghingers need sharpening.
