The Big Announcement
Jun. 5th, 2016 10:26 amI've been holding off on announcing this here while I work through telling various RL individuals/groups first, but....
27 weeks pregnant today. Expecting a baby boy, so far he seems healthy with all his appendages, a strong heartbeat, and no abnormalities detected. *knocks on wood*
Due date September 4th. Yes, five days before Squiddle's third birthday.
Kind of hoping my boys don't end up sharing a birthday; if they do, I have the feeling there'll be some resentment of it somewhere down the line.
Off to open up my sewing machine, now that the sewing area has been put back to rights, and stitch up another Idaho Square Dance block or two for the baby's eventual inaugural quilt from Mummy. I'm sort of planning a Big Brother quilt for Squiddle from many of the same fabrics, maybe using the Antique Tile pattern...? Then later today I'll finally sew the boning into that Regency bodiced corset mockup and make Wonderful Husband pin me into it and help with adjustments. No corsets this year!
