Unicorn Meds!

Doctor Gadde thinks my headaches are probably caused by stress and has "prescribed" (that being in quotes because it's over-the-counter) Excedrin Tension Headache for me. (Most other versions of Excedrin contain aspirin, and I'm breast-feeding, so they're a no-go.)

I have apparently been prescribed the unicorn of over-the-counter painkillers! I've gone to three pharmacies thus far, and none of them have it. I suspect I'm going to have to go with a store-brand equivalent, but as it's basically the Extra-Strength Tylenol I've already been taking + 65mg of caffeine, I'm supplementing my medication with black tea and dark chocolate while continuing the search.

Silliness

Wonderful Husband brought home a CVS store brand version of the Excedrin Tension Headache. Oh gods I love this medication and want to marry it. Except that would be bigamy. Now to see if the dose lasts a full six hours or not....

Last week I bought a used copy of The Shipping News by E. Annie Proulx because I liked it and wanted to reread it. I pulled it out of my bag and showed it to Wonderful Husband. The title took him places that are clearly internet-derived. Which I kind of expected. :)
