State of the Twiddling Thumbs

My father had knee replacement surgery today. I visited him after work in the hospital, where he was still mostly out of it. But reports say it went swimmingly, so we'll see how his recovery goes. Hopefully well!

Came home and watched the trailer for Pacific Rim. Which, meh, live-action Evangelion or whatever. Except for the part where Wonderful Husband said "Wait--that's GladOS!" And, yes, the AI is in fact the same voice actor! My odds of seeing the film just went up.
