Went to see ParaNorman at the $2 theater yesterday. It was not my most favorite animated film ever, but I am very appreciative of the twists and turns the script took and how it (mostly) did not fall into cliches. It covered some fresh ground, I think, and I recommend it.
That said, I don't feel the urge to fanfic for it. :) But then, I don't feel the urge to fanfic for rather a lot of the things I watch. My Rise of the Guardians fanfic urges burn unchecked, though, so as a warning, probably no one should expect much else from me here for the next week or two. :)
