Costume College, Day 1

Have this to say: doing Costume College during That Time Of Month is much preferable to doing SDCC during That Time Of Month. Embroidery class went great (six of seven students showed!) and I hung around long enough to go to the Ice Cream Social in the evening. Have car all packed with supplies for tomorrow's classes! Also, today I learned lucet weaving, and finished the length of yarn the teacher gave us up into four yards of corset cord.

Next year I'm going to get a room at the hotel. I'm no longer as eager to tackle the 80-minute drive each way, and I would like to be able to participate more fully in some of the activities. In light of this, Wonderful Husband and I have decided on only doing two days again at SDCC next year....
