Spent the day in the garden. Weeded under the weed-proof paper (ha!) of one of the garden paths, and laid down a new doubled layer of fresh paper atop it. Weeded other places. Lots of them. Doesn't seem to've made a visual difference. Watered potted plants, and was pleased to discover that, as hoped, no, the apricot tree is not dead; it's merely been winter dormant and is starting to put forth new growth.
And moving the potted orange tree by the in-ground lemon tree for the duration of its blooming was probably a good idea, as I watched a hummingbird busily going about its business with the tree this morning....
Got about half my seeds started today, and the six-packs set in their trays for the half I'll start tomorrow. Hopefully we'll be able to sift out the finished compost tomorrow, and I can dig that into one of the beds that needs it.
Meantime, I need a shoulder rub.... *goes to hunt down Wonderful Husband*
