TRIUMPH!!!!!

Have finally, finally got the Singer 15 working! It took heat (hair dryer) and lubrication (Tri-Flow) and sheer stubborn determination, but it now turns over and will sew. Well, it'll sew after I put a needle in it. And probably readjust the height of the needlebar. But the point is, it now works! So in the course of the afternoon's errands I stopped in at Pep Boys and got a tube of Universal Black touchup paint, and used it to touch up the chipped paint. Tomorrow, or perhaps Wednesday, comes the final oil cleaning and then the waxing and reassembly.
