Following a spate of cool, fall-like weather, SoCal has once again turned hot. It's 92 Farenheit inside the house right now. And of course it has to do this on a weekend we'd scheduled to devote to yardwork.
So, weeds have been pulled and the respawning patches of evil!grass dealt with. The extra pavers have been moved to the back patio together with the pallets they came on. Wonderful Husband has mowed the front lawn. If I can put a few of the tomato plants I never planted into the compost, and then get that turned, I'll count it a win and see if we can't build the last garden bed sometime during this week.
I've taken ten of the several dozen lemons we pulled off the tree this week and turned them into lemon cordial; if I feel ambitious, others will become lemon curd. Then there are the tomatoes I want to turn into tomato jam....
I'm also halfway through Redwall, and have built myself a house and a garden in Minecraft.
