Culinary Failure; Gardening Triumph
Apr. 15th, 2010 07:09 pmOn one hand, I have failed at alfalfa sprouts. This is annoying given that I was planning on tacos for dinner. Ah well, I have spinach or chard I can shred in its place.
On the other hand, the four cuttings I took of last year's volunteer Yellow Pear tomato plant (the one that grew up and through my lemon tree) have all rooted in the glass of water I stuck them in in the kitchen windowsill. Cue maniacal Spark-like laughter and ominous dialogue about plant cloning.
