Culinary Adventures in Gardening

Garden: more weeding, but also another trellis up and seeded, this one with pickling cucumbers. Also planted seven 'taters as an experiment, and the basil I planted seems to've started sprouting. Looks like I'm losing one jalepeno plant, though. :/

One of the abandoned plots has a huge Swiss Chard in it, so I broke off a few leaves and brought them home. Chopped them up and cooked them in a bit of olive oil with a minced shallot. Quite nice. ^_^
