Some nights, you just want popcorn for dinner. Or at least some nights I do. Don't know about the rest of y'all. And so last night Wonderful Husband made me popcorn for dinner. ^_^ (And before anyone bitches to me about nutrition, I have plain cereal (grains) and milk (dairy) and juice (fruit) for breakfast, generally something microwaved but innocuous for lunch along with two oranges (fruit) and a snack (yesterday, leftover chicken leg, therefore meat/protein) when I get home, so having popcorn for dinner once in a while isn't going to kill me. Particularly not when it's the real stuff, not the microwaved crap.

Finished up all the ironing last night (until, well, this weekend, I suppose) and put the last few ironed shirts away this morning. Have washed the outside of doors (wooden and glass alike), changed most of the runners and put a few new ones out, dusted the bedroom, cropped the rosemary bush and moved it into the corner with the help of my parents, brushed the cat (very important, that one... just ask her), and generally poked at spring cleaning now that it's actually spring. Still have a lot more to do, though. Am on the last side of removing the white yarn fringe from the checkered tablecloth, and have ironed my white silk bias tape for the 'Faire corset. Plus dug out The Colour of Magic and reread the first section.

Trying desperately to convince myself that I'm still treading water here, can you tell?

Yarn fringe and red-checked tablecloth successfully surgically separated from one another. (Yes, I brought it into work because while I'm taking fifty billion calls I have to have something to do with my hands....) Next, I get to chop the other tablecloth in this fabric (the one with a couple of stains and six holes) up into napkins.

Then I just need some drippy candles, a platter of spaghetti and meatballs, and two chefs at an Italian restaurant to play the accordian and sing at Wonderful Husband and I.... :)
