Insanity, Or Something Like
Mar. 24th, 2008 10:09 pmHave finished repairing the hem stitching on the runner and tossed it onto the "iron and put away plz" pile. Have gone back into the other project for the week, which is removing the white cotton yarn fringe from a tablecloth. Now, the fringe itself is innocuous and I think it would do fine on a baby blanket or something, but I want this tablecloth as a tablecloth, not as a ground spread for a picnic. This would be because I have another tablecloth of the exact same fabric with stains and a hole in it, that I am intending to cut up and hem into napkins.
Yes, I'm insane. Why do you ask?
Unfortunately, whoever sewed the fringe into this tablecloth felt the need to do so with nigh-microscopic stitches, which are a bith to pick out. Grr. Well, two sides down, so it should be finishable sometime this week. Knock on wood.
