*happy dance*

So, last week I went estate sale-ing with my mother, and as I occasionally do, picked up a partially done embroidered tablecloth. I set myself the goal of finishing the embroidery in a week, and polished it all off this morning. Pictures to come later.

Transformers: Animated had Dinobots again. And it was good. Giant transforming robotic dinosaurs FTW! (It also tickles my funnybone to see a Prowl that gets along with and is gotten along with by the Dinobots. 'Coz I am a dork.)

Went and closed out an old savings account that I haven't even looked at in over two years, and tossed the money into my main savings account, doubling the amount in either. Mathed things out and figured out that I'll be able to make my savings goal for the year, too. ^_^

And FINALLY some of the jalepeno seeds I've had on the kitchen windowsill sprouted. ^_^ Delivered the seedlings over to my mother and was given salsa in exchange.

Felines: mobile paperweights in search of an occasional scritch, or just royal pains in the ass? :)

Have worked out a possible pattern for an Elizabethan corset and cut out the lining layer... only to discover when I flipped the pattern over the center front fold that one corner was getting chopped off. ^_^;; AFTER I already cut the other side, of course. So I'm piecing the (striped) lining fabric in that corner. Then I just need to cut out the three pieces two more times each (interlining and fashion fabric) and hope the things fits me. After that comes sewing boning channels, cutting, dipping, and tipping steel bones, and then binding the thing, of course....

I think I know where the rest of my weekend is going. ^_^
