*sound of swelling violins*
Feb. 27th, 2007 09:50 amOur radio alarm clock is set to a classical station, K-Mozart. I like the djs--they're generally actually witty and amusing, as well as being well-informed about the music they're playing--and the station has introduced me to a lot of new music from both modern and classic composers. So when I woke up on Monday to country music blaring, I was understandably upset. Not to say that there's anything wrong with country music--I like some of it--but it wasn't what I was expecting. You know, like when you're really in the mood to watch an action film but when the film starts and you realize you've gone into the theater showing the soppy romantic tragedy instead? Not what you wanted.
Checking their website, it looks like they've moved to being a HD station and an AM station. This is slightly annoying (yay, retuning the radio stations tonight!) but at least they didn't completely disappear with no warning, which was what I'd feared.
I *like* my classical in the morning.
