Day off = day of productivity
Jan. 15th, 2007 04:11 pmWell, thus far today I have vacuumed downstairs, begun folding away and hanging up the clean laundry (need to finish that, as well as ironing those pieces that need it), and done a CostCo run, which resulted in the freezer being (finally!) overhauled, sorted, and refiled. Having picked up dishwashing detergent at CostCo, the dishwasher is now chugging merrily along, while the under-the-sink stuff has been tidied somewhat, and the kitchen counters have been cleaned. I also unloaded about a dozen tomatoes onto my mother as a thanks for her driving and paying for lunch. This Roma tomato plant I've got? Still going strong in *February*. I love this plant! Plus I ran to JoAnn's and picked up some more white silk thread while it's half off and the 1/8" cording I need to finish one of the current projects. Now I need to run the trash out, however, and then go back to JoAnn's, since I got the call-back from Liz and she does want the bolt of nicely inexpensive black velveteen I found and asked them to put on hold pending her decision. And then to start dinner, seam some white muslin together to make a sufficient width of fabric, and start cutting out the skirt pieces for Armida's wedding dress mockup!
