You know you're me when you ask your husband to proof a paragraph and tell you whether it sounds yaoi or not because you want it to be able to be read either way because you're not sure whether or not you're going there with this particular character, but if you are you want foreshadowing that's not explicit. And this request starts with the words "pretend you didn't know this was written by me...."

^_^;;;;

Chapter thirteen is done, I'm on page ninety-six (58,234 words to date), it's one a.m., and I'm going to bed.

Today!

Reasons I love living in southern California: it's mid-November and it's too warm to wear even a light jacket.

Am working on reaming out the workroom (progress: dubious) today in anticipation of guests at some point in the near future.

Two pies in the oven and a workroom that, while still a disaster area is at least a disaster area in a different shape than it started out from this morning. Oh, and two splinters dug out of the heel of my hand.

Word count: 1,276 (59,510 total). Less than I'd hoped, but at least chapter fourteen is started. I was worried because I had no idea what to write next! And I'm hurting some characters, but they know it has to be done, so they're not too bad about it. I have a feeling I'll have to write A Conversation tomorrow, which is depressing because I'm not sure I can do it well, but que sera sera. I'm at page ninety-eight now, have leftover apple pie downstairs, the dishes momentarily defeated and a 3/1 workday block (me being one of the people who doesn't get the Friday after Thanksgiving off, but I can live with it) before me, as well as family and good food. This week is looking up. And now, out of the woods, out of the woods--and home before dark!
