Image Search

Grr.

I am searching for a particular Hikaru no Go image. I know it's from the manga (therefore, Obata's art and not anime style), in color, and is in the summer. Hikaru and Akira are playing a game on the... porch? veranda? of Akira's house. Or a traditional Japanese building anyway. Some of the other young pros and maybe insei are also there. Akira, at least, is clad in yukata.

I CANNOT FIND the bloody image! It's not in the artbook. It doesn't appear to be a poster in any of the manga volumes. I -know- it's not doujinshi since the only HikaGo dj I have is from the vidgame set back in the Heian era.

If anyone can point me to an online version of the picture, I will be very very grateful. I want to write it into Bloodstone, but I can't without seeing it again and knowing what's in it. :(


EDIT: Found it! Itty-bitty postage stamp sized color version on the obi of volume 18, slightly larger black and white version halfway through volume 19.

HikaGo ficbit

Shortish, again, and mostly based on the image I was searching for earlier. It's Hikaru in below-described outfit playing Touya in a yukata, Isumi in the background, and Akari and Nase also in kimono. Summery, and feels like they're either going to or have gotten back from a festival. And, of course, where Isumi goes, Waya must follow, so he got written in as well. For luidaeg, who pointed out that it's "not in as big and splashy obvious a way, but Touya completely changes how he interacts with the world and the people in it after he meets Hikaru... he comes out of his shell... and maybe that's to chase Sai originally, but he stays out for Hikaru. You see him starting to socialize with the other young pros."
