*cuts fabric*

So far, five pieces out of just over four and a half yards. Unfortunately, I need another five and only have four yards left. *sigh* Can't believe it's not even 3 o'clock yet... it feels later than that.

Still trying to figure out if I'm actually a fan of MariMite or not... Wonderful Husband says that the fact I'm still watching the series thirteen episodes in points toward fandom, but I remain unsure.

Well, I want to finish these dresses sooner rather than later so I can go do *costuming*, so I'd better get back to cutting fabric. I only have three more skirts to cut out of the sheer after I finish these two of the satin, after all....

Go me, go me, gomegomegome.

Will be able to get *all* the skirt pieces I need out of the satin on hand. I will maybe need one seam on one piece, and it's the bottom layer, so no one will be able to tell. And there's enough in scrap bits to do handbags. (hoshikage, I was thinking match them to the dresses with white peacock fabric for the insides? What do you think, purple or turquoise, or one for the flower girl, the other for the bridesmaids? And do you want what's left of the blue back, or just the purple and peacock fabrics?)

Ha. All skirt pieces cut out for the satin layers. Fabric scraps from the bridesmaids' meet finally sorted, scraps too small for anything tossed. Fabric to go back to hoshikage neatly folded. The workroom actually has a floor again. Mind, the futon is still buried under the seething sea of gathered tulle....
