Jan. 5th, 2005 10:37 pmWonderful Husband and I each did another row of beading on the scarf for Wedding #1. One more row on my side and two on his and we can start the fringing!
Am pondering going to Costume Con. Unfortunately, (in addition to being just a -wee- bit intimidated by the thought of attending an entire con of hardcore costumers and having to face how totally outclassed I really am), I've realized that there's a problem. I will not know anyone. To say I am not good with strangers is putting it mildly. I freeze and drown if I don't have some kind of social support present while in strange surroundings. The one panic attack I've had in my life was when I was taken among strangers for an activity and nigh-abandoned by the person who brought me. I do not EVER want to have that experience again. EVER. So, any chance anyone on my friendslist is planning on going?
