Spent weekend with friends in Santa Barbara, which is always fun. Got to see friend in her wedding dress, which is very very pretty, and try on bridesmaid dress. Then had to come back home and work, but I have today off. Have finished editing newest story and my brain is nudging at the next. My feet, meanwhile, wish they had slippers. Ah well. Time to check jobs ads and then try working on thank-you notes.

When we went last to Sam's Club, Wonderful Husband bought a box of Swiss Miss hot chocolate packets because $.09 each was much much cheaper than buying them out of the vending machine at work. He also grabbed a box of spiced apple cider packets, also by Swiss Miss, which I've just opened. They are GOOOOD. Nummy!

*digs out cards and good pen and gets to work*
