It's Not Fall Yet

Outside, the Santa Ana winds are blowing cold from the desert. So it is dry and it is cold and I want another cup of hot tea.

Wonderful Husband and I went to DCA on his birthday. We ended up going on "The Hollywood Tower," which is a remake of "The Tower of Terror" at Disneyworld. It had nifty Twilight Zone stuffs and the drops were utterly unpredictable and therefore hair-raising. The best moment, however, was when we were shut into a "library" room before getting into the elevators and a little girl piped up, "Daddy, is this the Haunted Mansion?", thereby asking what we were all thinking. Out of the mouths of babes....

Discovery of the day: if you have an unopened DVD, still in its plastic wrap and sealing stickers, etc., but do not have a receipt documenting its exact point of purchase, you cannot exchange it ANYWHERE for mechandise of a similar or lesser value.
