Busy morning thus far. I've sewn the outer layer of the bodice (with gold piping in the seams because it's all about the shiny) and the inner layer of the bodice and am currently pinning the lining (black silk, to match the overskirt). After I sew together the latter, I'm going to switch over to getting one or hopefully both of my skirts finished before Wonderful Husband and hoshikage return with (1) boning for bodice, and (2) Mandi. Maybe I'll make a quick bumroll too to give the overskirt extra lift. Though it may not need it....

Train of thought: "Okay, all I can do on the bodice until boning arrives, done. Next: waistband for overskirt. Need waistband facing for that. Where is it? Hmm, used it last for the Cardgirl skirt... still had some left after that. Where did I put it? I know it's here. Somewhere. Where did it go?"

My brain is like a dog chasing its tail sometimes.
