Umi's armor: done. Fuu's armor: done. Hikaru's armor: working on that....

Done: Two front armor plates, with secondary dangling plates. One lower-arm cuff. One front armor plate with no danglies. 've spent all day working on them and they're very pretty and reasonably intricate but somehow I just don't feel that I've accomplished all that much. *sigh* Maybe it's because I didn't actually sew anything? I needneedneed to make the overskirt mockup tomorrow because the day after Mandi and I go home. Also need to do shoulder straps for at least my armor. And backplates! These need counterbalances in the back! ARGH! Damn CLAMP. And this trip has gotten expensive, not only in plane flight but in supplies purchased and being used up for this year's costumes. Otakon may well be off my radar again. Not sure. Will have to discuss with my Wonderful Husband, who I am missing very much right now....

And there have to be more points I can make about how Midori in "Child's Play" is or is not modern. Argh! v.2....
