Hung with friends today (yesterday?). This involved bread pudding for breakfast, then Book Off (found two Bronze novels but didn't get anything else), Kinokuniya (Hikaru no Go 23 *sniff* and Weiss B Side 1), Henry's Marketplace (fruit and flour and sugar for pies), DVD Planet (Onmyouji and X4), and WalMart (pie plates and carry baskets). Then we made pies. Four to be precise. Nectarine, apple, peach, and green tomato. We haven't actually tried them yet--reports on the green tomato pie will come once we have. Then we watched videos.

Onmyouji. OMG. Pretty! Heian era! Seimei! And slashy vibes! Want the sequel already dammit!

Also hooked ppl onto Full Metal Panic. Entirely fair play because last night Seshat showed us the first two episodes of Scrapped Princess and we all want more.

Still up because my foot hurts and is not letting me fall asleep. Thus, online and writing while waiting for pain to numb.

Tomorrow (today?) going out to brunch at workplace....

Final list of videos watched this weekend: Ogenki Clinic (only 1-2, we didn't get to 3), Hikaru no Go, Scrapped Princess, Full Metal Panic, and Onmyouji.

Best question asked this weekend: Marianne, one of the servers where I work, stopped me as our group of six (self, Jeanne, Sandy, Eric, Cyndie, and Brian) was leaving the restaurant after brunch and asked if those were my sisters. I replied no, as I didn't have any older sisters, but if I had any these would be them.

Possibility discussed with Jeanne about rewriting "Shaman" to fit a "Tales from the Ramen Stall" format. The idea intrigues me, but I am too brain-fried at the moment to make more of it than that.

ISO ice cream and slashy prettiness. Will rewatch Onmyouji, maybe....
