Aug. 31st, 2003 01:21 pmMy birthday apparently consists of getting called in to work early because both of the brunch hostesses are sick. So as soon as my work shirts finish washing and I can toss one in the dryer, off I go.
Wonderful Fiance[tm] gave me a pewter goblet! With the Saint George legend embossed upon it! His reasoning was that I collect British things (such as himself) and that St. George, being the patron saint of England, is very British. Anyway, *squeal*! I've been wanting a good goblet for a long time now. Happy me!
Best friend finished off a fanfic chapter for me, which is also very very good. Pretty crossdressing bishounen. And angst! Angst is always good. Again, happy me!
And my mother sang me the Sheriff John birthday song. Is kind of our family's birthday song, replacing the very annoying "Happy Birthday." Again, happy me!
