(no subject)

Went to Pentathalon today. It was neat. Lots and lots of cool medieval crafts stuff. Hmm, the next one is in two year... I think I may have something to enter by then.... Also got a LOT of compliments on my garb, which is something I really don't understand. Granted, the fabric is very pretty, but it was following a pattern for cryin' out loud! It wasn't even embroidered or beaded. Still, very gratifying to know all of my sewing experience has been good for something. I believe the best compliment I got, though, was one lady who said I was incredibly well turned out for someone whose first event this was. Had to leave before Court started, alas. And regrettably Cyn-chan couldn't make it up. Ah well. Off to work now.
