Last night I watched this week's episode of Smallville with my mother. Hmm, I cann see where my friends are coming from with the snarky Roswell comments--mysterious drawings on cave walls.... Overall I found it full of melodrama, but Christopher Reeve's character, and Clark's interaction with him, was fantastic. I hope C.R. shows up again. I also really loved the use of the movie soundtrack during the episode. It was nice, nice, nice. And, hmm, Martha's pregnant? I wonder how great of an inferiority/younger child complex that would be, being Superman's younger brother/sister. The episode prompted odd, related dreams last night that I'll have to think about.

Granted, I didn't go to bed last night until around 2am... I was writing the Yami no Matsuei fic and time just got away from me. It's up to 32K and I'm through the lemon scene. Wow. Writing as Hisoka utterly submerged himself was... I wouldn't quite say "religous experience," but it was certainly breathtaking. It was so beautiful experiencing him find this place that was utterly safe.

In computer lab at the moment for about twelve more minutes before heading out to work. Am still pleasantly blissed out on sensations from fanfic last night, even though it was Hisoka who got laid and spaced, not me... don't think this is vicarious sexual pleasure, though, just the lassitude of having taken on a hard task and having completed it far better than you'd ever thought possible. I haven't written a sex scene in years. Natalie, I suspect, is going to lap the fic up and go fangirly on it. Causing that effect in my friends with my work is one of the things I take great pleasure in, far more so than receiving fan mail from strangers.

So... Hisoka's still sleeping in the 'ficverse right now, and I'm debating whether to start the next part with him waking up, or from Tatsumi's viewpoint at the Kyuushuu area duo come in to the office. Note to self: dreams and their absence! Also, another Tsuzuki PoV section.

Meeting up with Sandy and Eric tomorrow after a jaunt with my sister through the fabric district. I must remember to make a copy of The Scarlet Pimpernel for them if possible and also find and copy Only Yuu and Foxfire onto disk if I can. If not, I'll have to e-mail them, which could be tedious as there're a lot of chapters. Sandy, don't forget my mom's bracelet, and are we doing the seed exchange as well, or no?

Going to browse through ff.net in search of a good YamiEi fic to tide me through work. Despite the popups and bad authors there, there are also *good* authors archived.
