sakon76I looked over the section of paperwork I need to fill out to convince the government that I am indeed a good citizen who can support my fiance if needs be.
Lovely in theory.
I am a freaking college student! I made less than 8K last year in taxable income. While I will be graduating with my first degree come June, and then able to get a real job which might actually enable me to support myself, let alone another person, currently my financial status is a joke.
Therefore, pouting.
Yesterday's news: started in on the hem of the crinoline. Doing it in white ribbon after all. Figuring that if I can do 180" a day (crossing four seams) it'll eventually get finished. I also dragged out the Crinoline of Doom with an eye to finishing it to use under my wedding dress perhaps. I want to also redo the waistband with velcro and put in an underskirt. While being Flowery, with leggings, the tulle couldn't be scratchy against my skin, but if I wear it with bare legs it won't feel nice. I also started in on a muslin for the cardgirl apron. It's actually coming along fairly easily now that I've realized no, the aprons aren't actually a rectangle. They're more along the lines of a truncated diamond, sweeping out to the sides at the waist straps.
Also wrote a bit of Subaru/Seishirou fic, exploring books sixteen through eighteen of the manga.
