While sorting through papers yesterday, among other things I found my copy of Clamp's aborted attempt at working with the Hakkaden legend, Hagun Sei Senki. It's mostly interesting to me because it has Suoh and Nagisa from CCD and Yuuto from X in it (Yuuto, like the Sumeragi twins in Clamp's original doujin stories about them, did attend Clamp Campus)... but more interesting all of a sudden is the spec sheet for one of the other characters, a maths teacher at the high school: SHIROU Fuyukaze. Same kanji as Kamui's surname. His father, maybe? This would also make it kind of an inside joke, Kamui struggling in math. Unfortunately other than the spec sheets the rest of the copies are Chinese translations so I can't comment on 'em.

May have also solved a problem that I've been mulling over re:this year's AX entry. It involves the cannibalization of a white sweater.... [eg]

That would make perfect sense, actually, that this particular teacher is Kamui's father. Born of an illicit teacher/student relationship, perhaps? Tohru didn't look that old when she died.

I like the fangirl theory (put forth in at least one of Allison Koh's stories) that Seishirou is Kamui's father, though.

Which story is this? I'd always thought N-chan and I were the only ones to've ever written that line of thought. I'd love to read someone else's take on the concept.
