I suspect that the Squiddle and I are passing the same cold back and forth, as he's currently the Most Horrendous Snot Monster Squiddle-Seijin, and I'm not much better.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm worse, as I threw up last night and that's something that (mercifully) Squiddle hasn't done yet. It quite worried Wonderful Husband, too, as what went into the toilet bowl was bright red. Then I reminded him that the last thing I'd eaten was the cherry Jell-O we had for dessert, which relieved him greatly.

This morning I thought I was better, as I got through some morning chores with no problem. Then Squiddle and I went down to my parents', as I want to build some A-frame trellises for the garden and need my dad's help, and as soon as I got there... I crashed. Was utterly useless at anything other than lying down all day.

I have no idea how people without adequate support structures manage parenting. Thank god for my parents, who took care of both Squiddle and me all day.

Yup, thank God for your parents. Hopefully your day of rest has helped you a lot, and Squiddle enjoyed the attention from Nana and Grandpa. M

Hope you feel better soon! Gotta watch that cherry Jell-O, lol. And yeah, watching my niece for a day is enough to wear me out - I can't imagine trying to do it while ill.

Same here with my nephew! The last time he was over and had a stomacheache I called my brother and mom so fast, I had NO IDEA what to do with a vomiting child. (He was fine by the time mom arrived to get him, of course, but this child DECLINED ICE CREAM because his stomach hurt so I knew something was wrong.)

I have not had to deal with a small vomiting human as of yet, thank goodness! I'm sure the day will come, though, lol
