Got petticoat #1 done last night. Tried it on, it fits and looks good, but I have determined that I will need to wear a slip with it. Nylon net is scratchy on the bare legs!
It's sunny and in the 70s today, so I'm spending the day gardening. Or at least hauling pots into new locations and generally tidying up the garden area. I bought a trellis and have woven the blackberry vines into it; much better. I also did the weekly pulling of the devil grass' resprouting attempts among my roses. As I keep digging down and pulling as much root system as I can, I hope it'll eventually give up. Or at least slow down. I've also been refreshing used potting soil and putting things in bigger pots: one rosebush, both jade plants, two gardenias, and two of the three rhubarbs thus far. One more rhubarb, and five or six strawberry plants to go....
Okay, cooled down enough now to go back outside. Once more unto the breach!
