Tightened things up a little, made a dowering convents connection with the Mission of Our Lady of Solitude, also made Marin buying what she wants simultaneously more impressive and less. She also did a bit of forensic embroidery examination with Kitty, and Briselied has somehow talked Higami into another sparring match. Need a scene with Ariss soon, and one with Terren.

So, contrary to today's plans and my rising stress level over the past week, I still have all four of my wisdom teeth this afternoon.

This would be because when I sat down on the chair and they got out the blood pressure cuff and all that stuff, the dental assistants asked me "Is there any chance you might be pregnant?"

Given that I have engaged in carnal intercourse with my husband since my last period, yes there is a chance. Thank you for not letting me know that I should get one of those kits and pee on a stick before coming in. Since you will now not perform this surgery on me, may I have a drink of water as I have not been allowed to do for the last twelve hours?

*sigh* More like I had a little stress breakdown in the office, everything got rescheduled for a January 13th (after I have returned from the UK and had a bit of time to get over jet lag), Wonderful Husband took me out for lunch, and we came home. Whereupon we discovered that one of the cats (probably Sushi) has been vomiting. The vet clinic says to bring him in if it persists through tomorrow.

*sigh redux*

Utterly failed to realize that I was supposed to get a blood test today until 4:50 (and the clinic closed at 5:00). And the next time I'll be at this point in my cycle I'll be in England, so now I have to wait until the end of January. Fraggit. So not my day for medical stuff.

Before going to the dentist's office this morning, Wonderful Husband and I laid down new path paper for one and three-quarters of the garden paths before running out of paper. I got a couple of the hoses coiled up, and the deck and part of the sidewalk swept. After we came back, I hauled out the narcissus, daffodil, and tulip bulbs and finally got them all planted along the bedroom side of the house. It'll be quite beautiful when they all bloom. I pulled another twenty-two lemons off the tree while I was at it (pondering making either lemon curd or perhaps more Honey Lemon Apple Jam) and also harvested one of the watermelons I had growing out front.

I have to report that Watermelon Jelly is some seriously yummy stuff. Wonderful Husband agrees.
