Lalalala vacation~!

Tonight, guests arrive from the U.K. Wonderful Husband and I looked at our accrued vacation and the fact that we really haven't taken any time off to just chill and unwind in rather a long time, and decided to take a week off. Which means that I spent the last two days working solid to clear everything off my desk, get all the filing done, all the cremains boxed up, etcetera... and I managed it. Last contract went into the mail ten minutes before closing yesterday. I don't think I stopped typing all Tuesday.

Our guests don't arrive until late tonight, so Wonderful Husband and I are taking the chance to actually sort and order and ream the house into cleanliness. The back bedroom actually looks like a guest room! ...Save for the closet of boxes of stuff we haven't dealt with yet. But the rest of it? Pristine for a change. The whole back half of the house is looking pretty good, in fact. This leaves the office, living room, dining room, and kitchen to go....
