If you want to give it a try, I've been watching the first season of Rescue Bots on Netflix with my boys, and while the designs and art style make me want to claw my eyes out, it is in fact delightfully whacked in a way that really reminds me of G1. Plus LeVar Burton voicing Dr. Green is a delight!
