Oh dear, yucky snails - they do pick these things up so easily, don't they? Although I find most people are ok about the snails, but the slugs are a whole other ball of wax - somehow that shell makes all the difference. We just read 'The Snail's Spell" for our preschool storytime this week - my naturalist came up with the most adorable snail craft with little eyes on sticks that the kids could extend or draw back from their snail, it was genius ^^
